View InstrumentsLSBI is a multi-user Texas A&M Chemistry facility supporting research on materials science and the interaction of new materials with biological systems, serving the department, the university, and the broader academic and industrial scientific community.
The Laboratory for Synthetic-Biologic Interactions (LSBI) is directed by Professor Karen L. Wooley and operates as a multi-user laboratory within the Department of Chemistry at Texas A&M University. Fifteen instruments spanning physical testing, spectroscopy, and imaging are available on a fee-for-use basis, with additional equipment considered on a case-by-case basis.
LSBI supports major research initiatives across campus and extends access to outside universities, nonprofits, government partners, and industry collaborators. The facility is registered with the Research Resource Identification Initiative as RRID: SCR_022287.
