Rates & Reservations

Instrument access is billed hourly by user category. Reservations are coordinated directly with facility staff.

Booking Instrument Time

Reservation requests are directed to LSBI Assistant Director Justin Smolen at smolen@tamu.edu.

Account Setup & Training

  • The lab PI contacts LSBI administration to establish a lab account.
  • Lab members create Facility Online Manager (FOM) profiles through LSBI administrative staff.
  • New users begin at “To Be Trained” status; authorized trainers elevate access once training is complete.
  • Monthly billing statements are generated; disputes are handled by the billing manager.
